Fixed Master License Key
This License Key (LK) is the default type for single module or the high channel
count systems. It is available for customers, internal use and sales channels.
This LK enables one fixed master module. Once the master module is specified,
other modules cannot be assigned to be a master module under the same LK. The
maximum number of modules in each system is limited by the software.
The total number of input channels that the user can run is limited by the
software options that he ordered. For example, VCS-20-C32 will allow running up
to 32 input channels (4 modules). A customer can order different combinations of
software options. For example, if the LK includes VCS-20-C32 and VCS-40-C16,
he can run Random up to 32 inputs and Sine up to 16 inputs.
Site License Key
The Site License Key (LK)type is a flexible master LK for high channel count
systems and is available for customers purchasing the same set of software
options for multiple modules listed in the LK. The customer may operate any
module or any combination of modules freely with a Single Site LK. The
maximum number of modules in a system is limited by the software as are the
maximum number of channels.
The total number of the input channels that the user can run is limited by the
software options that are ordered. For example, VCS-20-C32 will allow running
up to 32 input channels (4 modules). The customer can order different
combinations of software options as long as each module has the same
combination of options. For example, the LK includes VCS-20-C32 and VCS-40-
C16, the customer can run Random up to 32 inputs and Sine up to 16 inputs with
a flexibly assigned master module.
A Site LK is enabled when the VCS-00-20 is ordered.
