Using the controls shown in above screenshot, you can setup a trigger threshold
for the selected input signal. Any signal meeting the threshold condition will
activate the trigger and cause a signal block to be captured. The Delay Time or
Delay Points settings allow the data to be captured starting before or after the
trigger point. The trigger action that occurs can be selected using appropriate
Mode settings box. Event action rules can be specified for events named “Just
triggered”.
Trigger Switch is used to enable/disable the trigger. The system will wait for the
trigger to capture signal data.
The user can preview the Trigger window to view the instant the system is
triggered.
Curve Fit
EDM FFT provides a Curve Fit feature which can be accessed through the graphic
window. With user selected number of parameters, these values (coefficients, or
zeros and poles) will be fitted for the signal on display. And the fitted signal will be
displayed on the graph window with the original signal.
The Curve Fit icon can be clicked for the availale selections. There are “Curve Fit
Setup”, “Show Curve Fit Table”, “Calculate Curve Fit”, and “Define A Custom
Synthesis Table” entries under the “Curve Fit” icon.
