The second Meas. Strain is the measured strain with shunt resistor included.
Gain Adjustment Value is the ratio of second Measured Strain to the
Simulated Strain. This should be as close to 1.000 as possible.
Second Error (%) = 100* (second Measured Strain Simulated Strain )/
(Max StrainMin Strain)
Clicking Reset will erase the measured strain, and Measure will measure the
strain again. After getting satisfactory calibration statistics, exit the calibration by
clicking on Calibrate and then Finish. With the offset nulling and calibration
done, the system is ready to acquire strain data.
Strain Measurement
Start the FFT test and select the Strain signals you wish to display. Each defined
Strain produces a Time Stream and a Block time signals that may be dealt with
like any other time signals. Below is an example of Strain measurement in Time
stream:

Stress Calculation Function
You can convert any Strain time history to a Stress time history. Simply right-click
on the strain measurement window to convert from stain-to-stress or stress-to-
strain. A typical stress signal is shown below.
