The real power of full bridge installations is that the gages may be oriented to
accentuate one strain component while eliminating (or at least significantly
reducing) the effect of other components. This, of course, is not a light topic and
the serious practitioner is referred the many serious references in field including:

Remote Sensing
When a bridge or partial bridge is a long distance from the analysis hardware, the
resistance of the leads powering the bridge can cause a detectable voltage drop.
That is, the actual bridge excitation, V
