Measurement Point ID is the measurement point ID this channel is connected
to.
Coordinate defines the direction of the measurement point. The Cartesian
coordinate systems is supported. Combined with the Measurement point ID, it
defines the measurement DOFs of this channel is measuring.
Geometry window
The Geometry window interactively works with the channels table during the
setup process.
The display controls of the geometry model are the same as that discussed in the
edit section above. When one channel is set up, with the measurement point ID
defined the corresponding point on the geometry window turns to Red color, as
illustrated in the above screenshot.
ODS
EDM DSA software has a powerful animation tool for the animation of the
operational deflection shapes. Block data of the input channels can be used for the
visualization of the operational deflection shapes.
ODS window
In the ODS window, besides the display function buttons same as that in the
editor tab, there are function buttons related to the animation of the operational
deflection shapes.
