Installing a cooling fan module
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3. If installed, remove the air shroud.
Steps
1. Align and place the fan module connector horizontally with the connector on the system board.
NOTE:
The procedure to remove standard (STD) or high performance gold (HPR Gold) dual cooling fan modules are
same.
2. Press the orange touch point on the cooling fan module until firmly connected.
