Removing the EDSFF E3.S PERC module and battery tray
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3. Remove the drive backplane cover.
4. If installed, remove the air shroud.
5. Disconnect all the cables, observe the cable routing.
Steps
1. Disconnect the power cable from the PERC power connector, unroute the power cables.
2. Lift the battery at an angle and release the battery hooks from the holes on the battery holder and remove it from the PERC
battery holder.
