[3] Scale test
Use the following procedure to perform a scale test.
1. Select “3: BEEPER” at the TEST menu and then press the ENT
key.
The screen on the right is displayed, and the beeper sounds at the two
octaves listed below.
Upon completion of this test, the BHT automatically returns to the TEST
menu.
To stop the buzzer scale test while in progress, turn the BHT OFF.

[4] Aging test
Use the following procedure to perform an aging test.
1. Select “4: AGING” at the TEST menu and then press the ENT key.
The aging test begins and the current date and time display on the screen.
(This test is intended for personnel responsible for checking the BHT at the
factory.)
- Point -
The Auto OFF function is disabled during the aging test. To
abort the test, Press and hold the
BS/C
key to return to the
TEST menu, or turn the BHT power OFF.
