6.1 Replacing the Batteries
6.1.1 Battery Cartridge Service Life
Specified batteries: Size AAA alkaline dry cell batteries(LR03),
or Size AAA rechargeable eneloop® batteries.
Note 1: Use fully chargeable batteries when using rechargeable batteries.
Note 2: eneloop® is a registered trademark of Panasonic group.
Note 3: Using rechargeable batteries other than eneloop® may affect optimal operation of the device.
1. Press the power key ( ) to turn OFF the BHT power.
The screen on the right displays.
Point
Do not remove the battery cartridge until the
power turns OFF and the screen display
clears.
2. Slide the battery cartridge cover release button (1) in the direction indicated by the arrow and
remove the battery cartridge cover (2), and then
remove the battery cartridge (3).
3. Make sure to use the battery selector switch to
select the desired battery type.
Point
To ensure correct operation of the
battery power level indicator and the
charging function,
make sure to select
the desired battery type with the
battery selector switch.
