LED Used for State
D1 Encoder A-channel The LED indicates the state of the A-channel of the Ø
encoder. During rotation this LED will go On and Off at a
frequency which depends on the rotational speed.
D2 Encoder B-channel The LED indicates the state of the B-channel of the Ø
encoder. During rotation this LED will go On and Off at a
frequency which depends on the rotational speed.
D3 Encoder I-channel The LED indicates the state of the I-channel of the Ø
encoder. Most of the time this LED is Off. Only when the
rotation is at index position this LED is On.
D4 Encoder A-channel
(inverted)
Inverse state of D1. When the head is rotating both this LED
and D1 seem to be On simultaneously. But they light up
alternately and very quickly. Only the intensity is lower.
D5 Encoder B-channel
(inverted)
Inverse state of D2. When the head is rotating both this LED
and D2 seem to be On simultaneously. But they light up
alternately and very quickly. Only the intensity is lower.
D6 Encoder I-channel
(inverted)
Inverse state of D3. Most of the time this LED is On. Only
when the rotation is at index position this LED is Off.
D7 Encoder error On = Error detected on encoder signals.
Off = No error detected on encoder signals.
