13. Fit the new cable duct, this is done in reversed order. First each part to the coating head
and then to the rotating part of the coating head. Place new tie wraps and fit the plastic
disc last.
The HYBRID will now be ready for operation again.
When this procedure does not solve the disconnection or when the disconnection occurs
during normal operation, please contact the DIMA service department.
9.9 Adjusting the X, Y, Z and Ø Limits
Introduction
The X, Y, Z, and Ø limits must be adjusted when parts of the X, Y, Z or Ø movement have
been replaced or when the a movement is not running smoothly.
ATTENTION: after adjusting one of these limits Calibration is necessary; see Chapter 4.
NOTE: The HYBRID must be started but NOT!! initialized at start-up otherwise the axis
can’t be moved by hand.
Start up the HYBRID as follows:
Start up OFF-LINE
Push Ctrl + Shift + Alt + F10 simultaneously
Take Controller out of Simulation
When asked for Full Initialization check NO
Then close Machine State
Select Options/ Test Machine Parts/ Motion
Here the selected radio buttons should change into a red vane when the limit of one axis
is reached.
Adjustment procedure:
9.9.1 Adjusting the Limits for the X Axis
Move the Coating Head to the right by hand. Adjust this limit. Check if the right hand side
indication changes into a red vane. Do the same to the left hand side.
9.9.2 Adjusting the Limits for the Y Axis
Move the Coating Head to the front by hand. Adjust the limit. Check if the left hand side
indication changes into a red vane. Do the same with the rear.
9.9.3 Adjusting the Limits for the Z Axis with the HC-100
Move the Coating Head all the way up by hand against the mechanical stop. Adjust the limit
sensor of the Z axis. The distance between the blue tip of the sensor and the bracket should
be between 1 and 2mm. The under side of the blue tip should be level with the horizontal
part of the bracket.
