16 Replacing the Printhead Data Cable
16.1 What You Will Need
• No tools are required
16.2 Preparation
1. Power off the Model 5200/5400 and disconnect the power
cable.
16.3 Removal
1. Disconnect the data cable from the back of the printhead.
2. Open the access door on the back of the print station
enclosure.
3. Follow the identified data cable back to the enclosure and pull it
from the foam gasket (slide the gasket from the back of the
enclosure for easy removal).
4. Disconnect the data cable from the I/O panel.
16.4 Replacement
1. To replace the printhead data cable, reverse the steps in
Removal, paragraph 15.3.
16.5 Final Steps
When paragraphs 15.2 through 15.4 are complete:
1. Reconnect the power cable and power on the Model 5200/
5400.
