2.10 Ink Usage
The Ink Usage menu is used to determine the amount of ink that is
being used for the selected job.
2.10.1 Job Prints Per Bottle
Access Level: Read–3
The Job Prints Per Bottle parameter reports the total number of
images that can be printed with one bottle of ink using the specified
number of printheads with the job selected.
NOTE: If using ink blocks, the number of images will be
approximately 10% of what can be obtained using an ink bottle.
2.10.2 Printhead (1 - 4) Number of Pixels
Access Level: Read–3
The Printhead Number of Pixels parameter reports the number of
jets that will be fired for this printhead for the specified job with a
density of one.
2.10.3 Printhead (1 - 4) Image Density
The Printhead Image Density parameter is used to determine the
amount of ink being jetted. It is limited by the speed of the product
being printed.
Refer to Installation and Setup Guide, Section 3, Image Density,
for parameter options.
2.10.4 Printhead (1 - 4) Prints/Bottle
The Printhead Prints/Bottle parameter indicates the number of
images that can be obtained from a bottle of ink for each printhead
with the specified job. It provides a relative measurement for
individual printhead ink usage.
NOTE: If using ink blocks, the number of images will be
approximately 10% of what can be obtained using an ink bottle.
