17.5.2 Replacing the Pump Stroke Counter Limit Switch
1. Remove the ink delivery module. See Section 6, Replacing the
Ink Delivery Module and the Ink Delivery Module parts illus-
tration.
2. Remove the limit switch (Figure 6-29) off the motor by
unfastening the two screws, two split lock washers and two hex
nuts.

3. Disconnect the two wires from the terminals of the limit switch,
one at a time, to the same position on the new switch.
4. Mount the new limit switch onto the motor bracket using the two
screws, two split lock washers and two hex nuts.
5. Adjust the switch fully toward the eccentric (rotate clockwise)
and tighten.
17.6 Reflective Tape on Bottle Guide
1. Remove damaged reflective tape from the rectangular slot
inside of the bottle guide.
2. Clean the rectangular slot with mineral spirits on a lint-free
Markem-Imaje Printhead Wipe.
3. Then use alcohol on a lint-free Markem-Imaje Printhead Wipe
to remove the mineral spirit residue.
4. Cut a 1” x 7/8” (25.4mm x 22.2mm) piece of reflective tape and
apply it into the rectangular slot inside of the bottle guide.
