17.7 Fuse Kit
The fuse kit (0688415) provides replacement fuses for the
backplane board and Printhead Volt Board. Use only Markem-Imaje
specified fuses.
17.7.1 Fuses on Backplane Board
To access the backplane board (0672529), see Section 6,
Replacing the I/O Panel Assembly.
Fuse (F1) PTC RXE160 1.15Amp @ 50C
F1 is self-resetting and is used to protect the external supplied
(+5VE) 5VDC power against customer shorts.
This fuse is not replaceable.
Fuse (F2) PTC RXE375 2.70Amp @ 50C
F2 is self-resetting and is used to protect the (+14.5V) 14VDC power
supply against accidental short or over current.
This fuse is not replaceable.
Fuse (F3) PTC RXE185 1.33Amp @ 50C
F3 is self-resetting and is used to protect the (+24VDC) 24VDC
power supply against accidental short or over current.
This fuse is not replaceable.
Fuses (F4 F5) GDC-500mA Time-Delay, 5 x 20mm
F4 is a time-delay fuse placed in series with the 26VAC power line
that feeds the optional OCU scanner enclosure.
F5 is a time-delay fuse used to protect the (+5VI) 5VDC isolated
power supply against accidental short or over current.
Fuses (F6 F7) GDC-8.0Amp, Time-Delay, 5 x 20mm
F6 is a time-delay fuse placed in series with the melt stage and hold
stage heater cartridges 115VAC power line.
F7 is a time-delay fuse used to protect the 26VAC power line against
accidental short or over current.
