An umbilical (1, Figure 2-2), which consists of an ink line, vacuum
line, and electrical line, connects each printhead to the print station.
The operator inserts an ink bottle or an ink block through the ink
door (2, Figure 2-2). The ink is melted and transported to the
printhead through the ink line. The printhead ejects droplets of ink
onto your product or package.
