Selection Available settings Description
SpHb Cal – Arterial (default)
–Venous
Selects the blood sampling
source which is used to
calculate the SpHb value.
The SpHb value changes to
SpHbv when the SpHb Cal
setting Venous is selected.
PVI averaging
time
–Short
– Long (default)
Determines how responsive the
monitor is to rapid physiological
changes while tracking pleth
variability index.
A longer averaging time
provides a more accurate
result. However, in clinical
situations where rapid
physiological changes have to
be monitored, use a shorter
averaging time.
