Important
The proper direction of rotation is counterclockwise.
The position is indicated by the scale on the handwheel and an
arrow marking on the belt cover (2).

To position the needle manually:
1. Use the hand lever (1) to lift the sewing feet and remove the
existing sewing material.
2. Turn handwheel (3) or (4) until the desired position has been
reached.
