4.8 Positioning the needle
The machine is equipped with manual, semi-automatic and auto-
matic needle positioning.
4.8.1 Positioning the needle manually

To position the needle manually:
1. Use the hand lever (1) to lift the sewing feet and remove the
existing sewing material.
2. Turn the handwheel (3) until the desired position has been
reached.
CAUTION
Risk of injury from sharp and moving parts!
Puncture or crushing possible.
Do not reach into the needle tip.
Do not reach into the thread lever.
Do not reach into the sewing feet.
