2 Installation
easy800 devices must only be installed and wired up by qualified electricians
or other persons familiar with the mounting of electrical equipment.
The easy800 devices are installed in the following order:
• “Mounting 800“, Page 20.
• “Mounting the expansion unit“, Page 22 (optional).
• “NET network“, Page 53 (optional).
• “Install SmartWire-DT“(optional), ￫ Page 67.
• “Connecting the serial interface“, Page 60 (optional).
• “Connecting the inputs“, Page 30 (optional).
• “Connecting outputs“, Page 44 (optional).
• “Connecting the power supply“, Page 26.
DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
All installation work must be carried out with the entire
installation in a de-energized state.
Always follow the safety rules:
• Switch off and isolate.
• Verify isolation from the supply.
• Secure against retriggering.
• Short-circuit and ground.
• Cover adjacent live parts.
