2.8 Connecting the serial interface

The following chapters show the permissible cables for connecting your
easy800 device via the serial interface.
2.8.1 Connection to a PC
Connect one of the following programming cables to the COM or USB
interface of your PC and to the serial interface of the easy800 device.

CAUTION
When connecting the programming cable, the easySoft-Pro
programming software must be offline. On no account should
the programming cable be moved from one easy800 device to
another when the connection is online.
