7 SmartWire-DT
SmartWire-DT can be run with easy800-SWD. This is not possible with
easy800 standard.
This chapter gives you an overview of SmartWire-DT. Detailed descriptions
are provided in the following manuals:
• SmartWire-DT system (MN05006002Z-EN)
• SmartWire-DT station (MN05006001Z-EN)
With SmartWire-DT you can interconnect up to 99 stations very quickly in
simple steps. Stations can consist of switching devices as well as I/O
components.
The ribbon cable with the SWD stations and all components required for
connecting them is called the SWD line. The SWD line starts at the blade
terminal as a possible connection to the control relay and then ends at the
bus termination.
