2.9 Install SmartWire-DT
SmartWire-DT is only supported by easy800-SWD devices.
Connection SmartWire-DT
The ribbon cable is provided with direction arrows. Proceed as follows to
connect SmartWire-DT:
1. Prepare the ribbon cable or use a prefabricated cable
(see manual MN05006002Z-EN).
2. Fit the bus termination to the blade terminal to which the arrow in the
ribbon cable is pointing.
3. Finally check the correct polarity of the SWD stations:
• All arrows provided on the SWD stations and ribbon cable must be
pointing in the same direction.
• The black conductor of the ribbon cable must be on the same height
as the station‘s designation +15 V shown in black.
(see manual MN05006002Z-EN).
4. Hold the blade terminal from which the arrow on the ribbon cable is
pointing away.
5. Insert this blade terminal into the SWD-OUT socket.

Warning
SWD stations may be destroyed if they are refitted in the SWD
line when the power supply is on. Switch off the power supply
beforehand.
