5.25 PO, pulse output
This function block is available for easy806-SWD from device version 01 and
for easy800 standard devices from device version 07. This function block is
not available for EASY802-DC-SWD it has no local outputs.
The Pulse output function block enables you to generate a defined number of
pulses or pulse sequence at output Q01 or Q2. You can change the
frequency within the pulse sequence. You can generate several pulse
sequences in defined intervals. The function block also has Jog mode as well
as normal mode.
Two function blocks are available: PO01 and PO02. Both function blocks are
permanently assigned to device outputs Q01 and Q02: If you use function
block PO01, the pulse sequence is output at device output Q01, device
output Q02 is connected at function block PO02. The outputs Q01 and Q02
used must not be used again in the circuit diagram. The reason for this is that
the PO function blocks overwrite all other status changes at the device
outputs Q01 and Q02. This can cause unpredictable switching states.
The function block can be used in order to control a stepper motor via a
power amplifier.

Avoid unforeseeable switch states. Only use each coil of a relay
once in the circuit diagram.
