5 Function blocks
5.25 PO, pulse output
Control Relay easy800 11/11 MN04902001Z-EN www.eaton.com 233
Example with Normal mode:
Set parameter:FO = 3000 Hz, FS = 200 Hz, RF = BF = 1000
Result: n
1
= n
3
= 2800
Example with Normal mode:
1000 = Frequency change by 1 Hz per step
P1: Number of pulses in Jog mode,
Jog mode
Jog mode (TP = 1) can be activated for diagnostics and testing purposes.
For this coil PO..TP is actuated. The following parameters are required for
Jog mode:
The behavior of the function block in Jog mode varies according to the length
of the signal at coil PO..TP:
1. TP on duration < 0.5 seconds:
The function block generates at the device output the number of pulses
defined at P1 with the starting frequency defined at FS.
see range “A“ in Figure 167, page 234.
2. TP on duration 0.5 seconds:
The function block generates at the device output the start frequency set at
FS for 0.5 s and then accelerates up to the Jog frequency PF.
The pulse operation can be interrupted at any time by a 0 signal at the
TP input.
If Jog mode is deactivated (TP = 0) while a pulse sequence is output at the
device output with a Jog frequency (time point E), the pulse sequence is
continuously reduced to the start frequency (braking phase) see Range B in
Figure 167, page 234.
