INSTALLATION
3.8 Remote communication
3.8.1 Parallel communication
The SCU-1601 is fitted with a remote communication port, "X7 REMOTE" (refer to Figure 23) to allow
remote input and output signal control via input and output remote signals. This connector is a D-Sub
type (37-pins, socket) that conforms to MIL-C-24308. The screw for connector is M2.6.
Note: This D-Sub type connector is not supplied. Procure the connector for remote connection at
your company.

3.8.2 Serial communication
The SCU-1601 is fitted with a remote communication port, "Connector X3A, X3B" (refer to Figure 24)
to allow remote input and output signal control by serial protocol. This connector is a D-Sub type
(9-pins, socket) that conforms to MIL-C-24308. The screw for connector is M2.6.
Note: This D-Sub type connector is not supplied. Procure the connector for remote connection at
your company.
