4.5.3 Remote setting
The parallel port (X7 REMOTE) and serial port COM1 (REMOTE X3A/X3B), serial port COM2 (X7
REMOTE) and STP-LINK (X8) are fitted as standard. For the setting method of remote operation
hardware, refer to Section 3.11.
This section details the operating method using the parallel port (X7 REMOTE), refer to Figure 23, "X7
REMOTE connector" for details of pin location. For the operating method using the serial port, refer to
Section 5 and Section 6.
4.5.4 Starting/Stopping the STP pump
There are two methods for the starting/stopping operation with the parallel port (X7 REMOTE). Use
one of them.

1) Short the circuit between (1)-(21).
2) Short the circuit between (3)-(21) for 0.3
seconds or more. However, when inputting
this signal simultaneously with switching "ON"
the breaker on the rear panel, short the circuit
between (3)-(21) for 10 seconds or more.
Open the circuit between (1)-(21).

Short the circuit between (1)-(3).
In this case, (21) is not used.
Open the circuit between (1)-(3).
