Error on both units
If there is a problem with both units, then there is a system failure. Both units will indicate
that there is an error with the other unit, and neither unit will be the master. Since there is no
master, no subscriber status data will be transmitted to the network or received from
the billing system.

1. Power off both units and restart them (see section 6.4.3) so that the RF watchdog
circuitry is reset.
2. After you restart the units:
• If no warning appears, you should check if the subscriber data is still up-to-date.
Upload the subscriber data information from the most recent backup copy (see
Chapter 5) or from the billing system.
• If the warning message is still on screen after you restart the units, disconnect one of
the units and check the RF watchdog functions (see section 6.2 for detailed
instructions). Repeat the tests on the other unit. If the units work, reconnect them and
upload subscriber status information from the most recent backup copy (see
Chapter 5) or from the billing system.
3. If the problem persists, this situation requires immediate attention. Contact Electroline’s
technical support department for assistance.
