Data bits
For the default values of the data bits, refer to Table 3-4 on page 3-13.
To modify the data bits:
1. At the COM) prompt, type

and press <Enter>. This will display the Data bits options
and the current port settings.

2. Type the number (1 to 4) of the desired data bit option and press <Enter>. The new
values are displayed, confirming the modification.

3. Type

and press <Enter> to go back to the COM port menu.
Stop bits
For the default values of the stop bits, refer to Table 3-4 on page 3-13.
To modify the stop bits:
1. At the COM) prompt, type

and then press <Enter>. This will display the Stop bits
options and the current port settings.
