Trend Setup
The operator can modify trending options through the
Trend Setup screen, see Figure 17-2.
The Trend Setup screen can be accessed by pressing the
Setup button when the trending feature is not running.
This screen allows the operator to select a maximum of
10 analog I/O channels to populate the drop-down box-
es for trending.
The operator can also set a path for the trend data les to
be stored from the drop-down box in the setup screen.
The default option is saving on the Hard-Disk, but a USB
drive will appear as an option as long as it has already
been mounted on the panel.

If there is no space available on the USB, the trend data
les will be written to hard disk.
If the operator changes Press/Temp units or switches
Process Control Modes or disables Analog/Digital Input
Output Boards or disables individual IO channels (if they
are congured in trend setup) from the conguration
screen when running the trending feature, then the
background trending will stop.
