13 Maintenance
13.1 Maintenance work
No special maintenance work is required.
13.1.1 Exterior cleaning
When cleaning the exterior of measuring devices, always use cleaning agents that do not
attack the surface of the housing or the gaskets.

WARNING
Cleaning agents can damage the plastic transmitter housing!
Do not use high-pressure steam.
Only use the permitted cleaning agents specified.
Permitted cleaning agents for the plastic housing:
Commercially available household cleaners
Methyl alcohol or isopropyl alcohol
Mild soap solutions
13.1.2 Interior cleaning
No interior cleaning is planned for the device.
13.1.3 Replacing the batteries

Batteries may explode if not handled properly!
Do not recharge batteries.
Do not open batteries.
Do not expose batteries to naked flame.
Replacing the battery pack

Batteries may explode if not handled properly!
Do not recharge batteries.
Do not open batteries.
Do not expose batteries to naked flame.
Safety precautions must be taken when storing batteries. Observe the instructions in
the safety data sheets for the batteries (MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET).
Replace the battery pack if a diagnostic message is output.
Observe the specified temperature range of the batteries.
If the device is no longer in operation due to a flat battery, the buffer capacitor must
be replaced as well as the battery.
Check the battery charge state via the SmartBlue app
1. Open System.
2. Open Power (battery).
3. Open State of charge battery 1 or State of charge battery 2.
4. Switch off the device as described below and replace the empty battery pack.
