Paper Feed Mechanism
When the ASF loads paper into the printer, the PF and pinch rollers
receive it. These rollers in turn move the paper across the platen,
where printin
takes place, and feed it out throu
h the e
ect rollers. The
top e
ect roller is notched and set back from the lower e
ect roller at a 5-
de
ree an
le toward the platen. This compensates for paper curl and
allows the trailin
top
ed
e of the paper to pass under the printhead
without bendin
.
