3. As necessary, click either Captive Screw Insert (see figure 53,

) or Ethernet
Insertion (

) radio button (Captive Screw Insert is the default).
4. If you selected Ethernet Insertion, and as necessary to set the RS-232 protocol of the
port to match the connected device, use the Serial Port Settings drop-down
menus to change the Baud Rate, Data Bit, Stop Bit, and Parity Bit settings.
5. Click the Apply button. The Configure Port dialog box closes and the General
Settings page returns to the top (see figure 48 on the previous page).
6. If you want to change the change the port number starting point, click in the Starting
Point box and type in a new value (see Port number on page 55 to understand how
this affects insertion port numbering).
