Necessary precautions
After a long period
of
inactivityand before using
your car check:
- the antifreeze level
in
the heater tank;
if
it
is
very low
check
that
there are no leaks
from
the
cooling system;
- the engine oil level: if it
is
below the halfway
mark, top up (see page 57);
- tyres pressure (see page 17) and their condi-
tion, including spare wheel which must be cor-
rectly fastened through eyebolt B fig.

- the brake fluid level
in
the
reservoir.
Anyhow it is advisable
to
perform
these checks
every 500 miles.

Precauzioni necessarie
Dopo
un lungo periodo di inattivita e
comunque
prima di usare la vettura controllare:

il
Iivello miscela antifreeze nel serbatoio di
espansione; se
e
molto
basso accertarsi che
non esista qualche perdita nel circuito;
-
il
livello olio motore, se
si
trova
sotto
la
meta
tra
il
minimo ed
il
massimo ristabilire
il
livello
(vedi pag. 57);
- la pressione dei pneumatici (vedere a pag.
17) ed
illoro
stato di usura, compresa la ruota di
scorta
che deve essere
correttamente
fissata
con I'apposito perno B (fig. 45 pag. 47);
-
il
livello del liquido per freni nella vaschetta.
E
comunque
consigliabile eseguire questi
con-
trolli ogni 800 Km.
