Ferrari 328 - Car Washing

CAR WASHING
- Avoid washing the car in strong sunlight or
when the bodywork is warm.
- Make sure
that the paintwork is not directly
sprayed with a high pressure jet, as damage
may result.
- Wash all
the paintwork using a sponge, ample
quantities of water and a neutral shampoo.
- Rinse of all shampoo with a hose, and dry
using a chamois leather.
We
recommended not to have the car washed
by
automatic washing plants which usually em-
ploy very aggressive detergents.
Never employ hot water or steam washing.
Note
After washing the car should be driven at a re-
duced speed
with the brakes lightly applied in
order
to dry up brakes and pads.
I ........i To preserve the paint lustre it is sug-
.I"VICE gested to polish it about twice a year
with a good quality polish recommen-
ded by Ferrari Services.
For
interior cleaning and preservation, it is advi-
sable
to address to a Ferrari Service.

I........i PREVENTING CHASSIS AND BODY
.UVICI RUST
For a good preservation of body and chassis, it
is
recommended to have an anti-corrosion treatment
performed every 2 year by a Ferrari Authorized
Dealer.
Note
It is recommended to have evidence of the treat-
ment performed marked
in the proper spaces in-
cluded
in the warranty card.

LAVAGGIO DELLA VETTURA
- Evitare di lavare la vettura al sole 0 quando la
carrozzeria e ancora calda.
- Fare
attenzione che il getto d'acqua non col-
pisca violentemente la vernice.
- Lavare
con spugna. soluzione di acqua e
shampoo neutro tutte Ie parti verniciate.
- Lavare
nuovamente con getto d'acqua, con
leggera pressione ed asciugare con pelle di dai-
no.

Esconsigliabile illavaggio con impianti automa-
tici che, generalmente, impiegano detersivi
molto aggressivi.
Evitare assolutamente iI lavaggio mediante
acqua molto calda
0 vapore.
Nota
A lavaggio eseguito, prima di riprendere la nor-
male marcia esercitare una leggera pressione
sui
freno a velocita moderata affinche i dischi e
pastiglie
abbiano a pulirsi.

.UVOCI vern ice ripassarla una 0 due volte
all'anno
con appositi preparati consi-
gliati dai Servizi Ferrari.
Per la
buona conservazione e la pulizia dell'in-
terno vettura rivolgersi ad un Servizio Ferrari.
Nota
Marca e tipo di vernice sono indicati nell'appo-
sita
targhetta posta all'interno del vano bagagli
(vedi pag. 10 Fig. 11).
I ........ i PROTEZIONE ANTICORROSIVA
.UVICI TELAIO E CARROZZERIA
Per
la buona conservazione della carrozzeria si
consiglia di eseguire il trattamento, con oli cerosi,
degli scatolati e del telaio ogni 2 anni presso
un
Centro Autorizzato Ferrari.
Nota
Si raccomanda di far registrare I'avvenuta esecuzi-
one del trattamento negli appositi riquadri inseriti
nella tessera di garanzia.
