tion. During normal operation, the indicatorcan
show the following:
1) Green color (totally
or
partially): battery rea-
dy.
Occasionally the green
color
may remain al-
so
after repeated starting
attempts
which may
cause the need
for
battery recharging.
2)
Black color, without any appearance
of
green; if this happens
together
with difficulties
of
engine starting, the
battery
must be inspec-
ted by
an
Authorized Service. Also the charging
system
of
the vehicle must be inspected.
3)
Yellow color very rarerly the indicator could
turn yellow:
in
this case
don't
try
to
re-charge
the battery, nor try to
connect
an
auxiliary bat-
tery,
but
inspect the charging system
of
the ve-
hicle. If the system
is
efficient, but engine star-
ting remains difficult, the
battery
must be repla-
ced.
Note - The ground battery cable can be inter-
rupted by
connector
B (Fig. 82).
Battery should be disconnected
in
case of
long inactivity.
