WATER PUMP CONTROL BELT
The deflection C of the belt in the middle of the
two pulleys must not exceed .16 ins. with a load
of 6.6 Ibs.
Load
must be of 4.5 Ibs for a run-in belt.
To
increase the tension slacken the bolt E, rota-
te the tensioner clockwise and re-tighten the
bolts.

Tension manual checking
The deflection B of the belt in the middle of the
two pulleys must not exceed .12 ins. with a load
of 4.4 Ibs. Load must be Of 2.2 Ibs for a run-in
belt.
Checking by tensiometer
The tension charge of a new belt should be 49.7
Ibs read on scale
11 M of tensiometer "Gates
150 type". With used belt the tension should be
41.9 Ibs. To increase the belt tension, it is ne-
cessary to slacken the nut D that tightens the
support of the idler. Move the support counter-
clockwise and retighten the nut.

CINGHIA COMAN DO POMPA ACQUA
La freccia C misurata a meta del ramo deve es-
sere di
mm. 4 con un carico di 3 kp. A cinghia ro-
data il carico deve essere di 2 kp.
Per
aumentare la tensione delle cinghie occor-
re allentare i bulloni E che bloccano il supporto
del tenditore. Spostare il supporto in senso ora-
rio e
bloccare nuovamente i bulloni.

Tensione manuale
La freccia B misurata a meta del ramo deve es-
sere
di mm. 3 con un carico di 2 kp. A cinghia ro-
data il carico deve essere di 1 kp.
Tensione mediante tensiometro
A cinghia nuova il carico di tensione deve esse-
re 22,5 kp.
letti sulla scala 11 M del tensiometro
"tipo GATES 150". A cinghia rodata il carico de-
ve essere 19 kp. Per aumentare la tensione del
la cinghia occorre allentare il dado D che bloc-
ca il supporto del tenditore. Spostare il suppor-
to in senso mario e bloccare nuovamente il da-
do.
