Aiming the headlamps
lerrari This operation should be performed by a
.'.VIC'
Ferrari Service facility as follows:
1 - The car, unladen with tires inflated at the recom-
mended pressure, must be placed on a flat facing
a while screen (or wall)
in
the shade.
2 - mark on the screen the center points of the low
beams.
3 - Move the car 10 meters (66
tt) back and switch
on the low beams. The beam reference points
P - p. must be coincident with the vertical lines pas-
sing throught the markongs on the screen and
must located below the center points by at least
1/10 (one tenth) of the center point height above-
ground.
The aiming can be adjusted by turning the proper
screws A and B
(fig.88,
page93).

Qualora I'utente desiderasse eseguirla personal-
mente, diamo qui
di
seguito
Ie
norme da seguire:
1 - Porre la vettura scarica, con pneumatici aile
pressioni prescritte,
su
terreno piano di fronte ad
uno schermo bianco situato in ombra.
2 - Tracciate sullo schermo 2 crocette corrispon-
denti
ai
centri dei proiettori anabbaglianti.
3 - Arretrare la vettura di 10 metri e proiettare
Ie
lu-
ci
anabbaglianti (proiettori esterni); i punti di riferi-
mento P - p, del fascio luminoso devono trovarsi
al
di
sotto delle crocette corrispondenti
al
centro dei
proiettori di 1/10 della distanza fra
il
suolo e
Ie
cro-
cette stesse.
Per I'eventuale regolazione del fascio luminoso
agire sulle viti A e B (figura88 ,
pagina93).
