To extend the life of the vehicle battery,
when the engine is turned off and one
of the doors is left open for 15 minutes,
the interior lights are automatically
turned off.
NOTE The battery save function will
stop when the ignition device is turned
to the MAR position.

This is located above the rear door.
Press the cover at the point shown in
fig. 87 to switch it on.

The switch (A) can be used to turn it on
and off:
position : the ceiling light is always
on;
position : the ceiling light switches
on when the front door, side door and
rear swing door is opened. It switches
off automatically after 30 seconds
from when all the doors are closed. It
also switches on when the movement
of a person is detected in the load
compartment, and then switches off
automatically after a few seconds from
the end of the movement (where
provided);
OFF position: the ceiling light is
always off.
In any case, if the switch is left in on
position, the ceiling light switches off
automatically 15 minutes after the
engine switching off.
After 15 minutes it will not be possible
to turn on the ceiling light using
the buttons or if any movement is
detected.

fig. 89 to switch it on.

REMOVABLE CEILING
LIGHT

It is used as both a fixed light and a
portable electric torch.
When the removable light is connected
to its fixed mount fig. 90, the electric
torch battery is automatically
recharged.
With the vehicle stationary and the
ignition key either turned to STOP or
removed, the ceiling light is recharged
for a maximum of 15 minutes.
