4.10. Application operation of parameter
4.10.1. Setting automatic 2 ranges
Description
The function carries out a measurement while changing over the range
according to the flow rate.
The current output changes with the action range as illustrated on the right.
The hysteresis can be set to between 0 and 20% of the smaller range.
Upon setting DO1 and/or DO2 to "FULL SCALE 2", a contact outputs "FULL
SCALE 2" action. Select “ACTIVE ON” or “ACTIVE OFF” separately. (See
4.10.5.)
Settable range: 0.3 to 32 [m/s] in terms of flow velocity in piping for any of
FULL SCALE1 and FULL SCALE2.
* Preset PIPE PARAMETER and FLOW UNIT.
* If a value beyond the settable range is inputted, "INPUT ERROR" appears
and then last setting is resumed.
* If "FLOW UNIT" has been changed after setting the range, redo the range
setting.
* When FULL SCALE2 is not used (in the case of single range), set “0” to
FULL SCALE2.
<Note> The flow rate unit is as selected by "FLOW UNIT". Before setting range, set the "FLOW UNIT". (See 4.8.2.)
For actual keying, refer to the typical operation indicated below. Set the protection to OFF beforehand. (See Section 4.4.1.)
