• CHAP User ID
• Change CHAP Password

• Confirm CHAP Password
Description The user ID of the member host, for which CHAP Authentication will be used, is
displayed.
To use the CHAP Authentication on the iSCSI host to be added, select the checkbox of the
iSCSI host, and enter the user ID. It is not necessary to specify this item if the CHAP
Authentication is not used.
If the iSCSI host has already been registered in the ETERNUS DX, the user ID is displayed.
Make sure to set the user name and password together.

Description To register or change the CHAP Authentication password, select the checkbox.
The checkbox can be selected only when the iSCSI host has been selected.

Description The password for the member host, on which the CHAP Authentication will be used, is

confirmation. It is not necessary to specify this item if the CHAP Authentication is not
used.
The password can be entered only when the iSCSI host has been selected, and the
"Change CHAP Password" checkbox has been selected.
