2.9.5 Transfer of ownership
Purpose
Allow the new owner of the IIDTool to access the advanced functions on a vehicle (some restrictions
apply, see section 1.4.2).
Prerequisites
• Having purchased a used IIDTool BT
• Having consulted or be aware of applicable restrictions to the use of a licences (section 1.5)
Note : Transferring a unit will remove advanced programming functions capability from the previous
vehicle and have the unit registered under your name.

4- Once a reply is received with the unlock code, simply proceed with the appropriate steps sec-
tion 2.9.2 steps 12 to 14
The user now has access to advanced programming functions, to updates and save/restore functions
for his vehicle. Automatic backups of air suspension settings (if applicable) and the Car Conguration
File (CCF) will be performed once connected to the vehicle on which the new unlock will be applied.
