2.3 Installing the Updater Software
Purpose
Enjoy the full potential of the IIDTool through regular updates.
Principle
Install the free software specically dedicated to updating the tool, named “IIDTool Updater” on PC or
Mac (32 or 64 bits version available) type personal computer.
Note : Installation of the updater software is required only once. If it turns out that an update is requi-
red, a message will pop up when launched with directions to follow.
Prerequisites
• Having access to a PC type personal computer with Windows XP operating system or higher
Or
A Mac personal computer (32 and 64 byte version available)
• Have access to an Internet service
• Having completed the User Registration (section 2.2)
