10-2 Calibration procedures K0460 - [EN] English
Before starting the calibration, make sure that the time and
date on the instrument are correct; see Section 2.8.1
(Procedure to set the basic operations:).
10.3 Selection
sequence
To do a calibration on a measure or source function, use the
Advanced menu option; see Section 2.10 (The Advanced
menu options):

Perform Calibration
Then select a function and start the calibration. This example
shows the Current (measure) function:
Resistance
(CH1)
(measure) (source)
Standard 0Ω resistor An ohmmeter or an RTD
measurement system with the
specified excitation currents; see
Table 10-11.
*
Standard resistor (Ω): 100, 200, 300,
400, 1k, 2k, 4k
Total uncertainty: 20 ppm
CJ
(CH1)
- Calibrated K type thermocouple
Accuracy: 50 mK for -5 to 28°C (23 to 82.4°F)
- Thermocouple temperature reference unit (0°C)
Accuracy: 30 mK
Pressure
(P1 or P2)
An applicable pressure standard (primary or secondary):
Range 25 mbar/0.36 psi: total uncertainty of 0.015% reading or better
Ranges > 25 mbar/0.36 psi: total uncertainty of 0.01% reading or better
* Or an equivalent resistance simulator
