10.8  Procedures 
(CH1): Frequency 
(measure/source)
It is only necessary to do one frequency calibration; use the 
measure function or the source function.
Frequency calibration (measure function): With the 
necessary calibration equipment, use this procedure:
1. Connect the applicable calibration equipment in Table 10-1; 
for example: see Section 3.2.8 (Example procedure: 
Measure or source frequency signals), example A. 
2. Let the equipment get to a stable temperature (minimum: 5 
minutes since the last power on).
3. Set-up the equipment with these conditions:
4. Use the calibration menu (Section 10.3) to do a one-point 
calibration then do the calibration checks (step 5).
Frequency calibration (source function): With the 
necessary calibration equipment, use this procedure:
1. Connect the applicable calibration equipment in Table 10-1; 
for example: see Section 3.2.8 (Example procedure: 
Measure or source frequency signals), example B. 
2. Let the equipment get to a stable temperature (minimum: 5 
minutes since the last power on).
