Chapter 9. Turbo Operation
Introduction
Turbo sampling mode is an option on a Sievers 900 On-Line TOC Analyzer that is achieved by
purchasing an activation code from GE Analytical Instruments. Turbo mode is useful for monitoring
recycle or reclaim water in semiconductor facilities where rapid response is of primary concern.
When operated in the Turbo mode, results are reported every 4 seconds.
Note that the Autoreagent function cannot be used in Turbo mode.
Note: During a reagent syringe refill, there is a three to four minute delay, during which no
new data are available. Refills will occur approximately every four hours.
