3.) Disconnect Battery power and signal cables.
4.) Open cover and replace Battery pack from DPS with Battery top cover.
8-58-5 Installation Procedure
1.) Install the new parts in the reverse order of removal.
2.) Perform: FRU8-50: Replacement of Battery Pack Assy - Functional Tests.
NOTE: When the AC power is plugged in, the system fan will be operated automatically until the battery is fully
chaged. Even though the AC power is plugged in with the full battery, the system fan will also be
operated automatically for less than one minute.
