6 REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES
6.22 Y Belt
How to detach the Y Belt
(1) Detach the Y Rail Cover (See section 6.3.).
(2) Detach the Front Y End Cover (See section 6.4.).
(3) Detach the Rear Y End Cover (See section 6.5.).
(4) Detach the Pen Block Cover (See section 6.17.).
(5) Detach the Pen Block (See section 6.18.).
(6) Loosen the two M3L20 binding head screws which are adjusting the Y belt tension.

(7) Remove the four M3L6 binding head screws holding the Y belt with the Belt Stopper plate, and then
detach the Y belt.

How to install the Y Belt
(1) Reattach the Y Belt in the reverse order in which it was detached.
(2) Temporarily tighten the two M3L20 binding head screws which are adjusting the Y belt tension.
(3) Adjust the Y Belt tension before installing the Covers (See section 6.23.).
(4) Apply suitable quantity of the silicon grease to the Y belt when Y belt was replaced to new one.
