7.7 Adjusting the Registration Mark Sensor Level
Perform this adjustment when the Main Board or the Registration Mark Sensor was replaced.
Prepare the white copy paper to adjust the Registration Mark Sensor Level.
How to adjust the Registration mark sensor level
(1) Conrm the Registration mark sensor bracket was installed to correct height (See section 6.19.).
(2) Turn off the power if the power is on.
(3) Set the DIP switch to adjustment mode.

(4) Turn on the power.
(5) Press the [Next Page] key until the following menu is displayed.

PRESS ENTER KEY!
(6) Place the white copy paper onto the writing panel of FC4500.
(7) Conrm that the surface of copy paper is at. This adjustment will not be done correctly when the
surface of copy paper is touched to the bottom of registration mark sensor bracket or the copy paper
is not loaded to be at.
(8) Press the [ENTER] key to display the following menu.

(9) Press the [F1] key to display the following menu.

MOVE TO ADJ. POINT
PRESS ENTER KEY!
(10) Move the registration mark sensor position to the white area of copy paper by using the position
keys.
(11) Press the ENTER key to start the registration mark sensor level adjustment. The plotter immediately
adjusts the registration mark sensor level automatically.
