7.9 Adjusting the Registration Mark Sensor Position (FC4510-60)
Perform this adjustment when the Main Board or the Registration Mark Sensor was replaced.
Perform this adjustment after the registration mark sensor level was adjusted.
Prepare a water-based ber-tip pen (black color) and the white copy paper.
There are three procedures to adjust the registration Mark sensor position.
P.AUTO
The plotter draw the square shape of adjustment target, and then adjust the Registration Mark Sensor
position automatically. (This is easy way to adjust the registration mark sensor position, but this needs to
draw a good shape of square by the water-based ber-tip pen.)
P.MANUAL X and Y
This procedure adjust the Registration Mark Sensor position manually with the printed cross mark target.
Prepare the printed cross mark target if the Registration Mark Sensor position adjusts by this procedure.
(The target of registration mark sensor position is used with printed cross mark, therefore this does not
need to draw a good shape of target by the water-based ber-tip pen. And the registration mark sensor
position is able to input manually.)
And the FC4510-60 has two registration mark sensors to detect for the X direction and the Y direction.
Therefore the adjustment values have to input for the both sensors.
P.MANUAL +X and +Y
The plotter draws the cross mark target, and then adjusts the Registration Mark Sensor position manually
with the drawn cross mark target.
(The target of registration mark sensor position is drawn by the plotter, therefore a good shape of target
have to draw by the water-based ber-tip pen. And the registration mark sensor position is able to input
manually.)
And the FC4510-60 has two registration mark sensors to detect for the X direction and the Y direction.
Therefore the adjustment values have to input for the both sensors.
